I’m Sadik Hasan, a software engineer whose journey into tech has been defined by persistence, adaptability, and a passion for building systems that truly matter.
Like many aspiring engineers in Bangladesh, I once dreamed of studying Computer Science at a public university. That door didn’t open for me—but instead of giving up, I took another path. I studied Physics at Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), where I learned logic, problem-solving, and analytical thinking. I graduated with a GPA of 3.11/4, and even though I wasn’t in Computer Science, I knew my future was still in technology.
My professional career began at Buy-Now.biz, where I worked on a fintech platform serving thousands of users. It was here I first learned how challenging—and rewarding—it is to build software that people rely on every single day. I integrated payment gateways, handled complex transaction logic, and managed deployments on AWS. More importantly, I learned how to deliver in a fast-paced startup environment where every line of code counted.

From there, I moved to 7TonExpress.com, where I took on the challenge of building an international logistics system with Django. Deadlines were tough, expectations were high, but I thrived in the pressure. Leading development and ensuring delivery on AWS and Azure taught me that building software isn’t just about writing code—it’s about planning, collaborating, and keeping a team moving in the same direction.
At GariBaree.com, I worked on a vehicles and real estate marketplace that served thousands of daily users. Beyond keeping the platform stable, I led its redesign into a modern Spring Boot + Angular stack for scalability. Alongside this, I took on a part-time role at Hashsolution.com, where I expanded into Golang, Elasticsearch, and microservices, proving to myself that I could adapt to new technologies quickly and effectively.
In 2024, I joined Dynamic Solution Innovators (DSi), where I entered a new world: large-scale government projects. My first assignment was a Water Ministry system for meetings and inspections, delivered in just two months. Soon after, I contributed to projects for the Civil Aviation Authority and later the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC), where I currently work as an assistant team lead, guiding two junior engineers. Here, I’ve learned that leadership isn’t only about solving technical problems—it’s about mentorship, communication, and helping others grow.
One turning point for me was when I was asked to take over intern management at DSi. Suddenly, I wasn’t just responsible for my own work; I had to help shape the growth of newcomers to the industry. It was a challenge, but also one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. It taught me patience, empathy, and the value of teaching what I’ve learned along the way.
Another milestone was my deeper involvement with Agile and Scrum practices. I implemented Scrum in my team and even attended the Regional Scrum Gathering in Bangladesh because I believed it would help me grow. The experience was worth it: I got to learn from international speakers, connect with professionals, and bring back fresh insights for my team. For me, Agile isn’t just a process—it’s a mindset that helps teams stay adaptive, collaborative, and focused on delivering value.

Looking back, I see how every step—Physics at SUST, fintech at Buy-Now, logistics at 7TonExpress, marketplaces at GariBaree, Golang microservices at Hashsolution, and now large-scale government systems at DSi—has shaped me into a well-rounded engineer.
Today, with nearly three years of experience, I see myself as more than just a backend developer. I am a problem solver, a system thinker, and a team builder. I thrive on tackling complex challenges, mentoring teammates, and aligning technology with real-world impact.
My journey is still unfolding, but one thing has never changed: the curiosity that first drew me to computers as a child still drives me every day.
